It is important to make sure the interaction on the web site is conducted in a manor that is beneficial and constructive to the Mt Isle Harbor Owners’ Association; it’s members, leaders and the neighborhood.

The following rules for membership will apply:

• Membership is open to all homeowners in good standing with the Mt Isle Harbor Homeowners Association.
• Membership is also open to the families of homeowners who are 13 and older. (Children between the ages of 13 - 18, must attain and demonstrate parental permission and support before approval).
• All applicants are required to provide information regarding their name(s), address and phone number upon application.  Street address and Name will be visible to other registered users, phone number is only visible to site administrators. All users are required to use their real first and last name in their profile.
• Members of the MIH Communication Committee who monitor and administer this site may contact individual applicants to confirm information before approval.

The following rules for conduct will apply:

This site exists to provide a service to our community in as many ways as possible.  We are providing an ability to post discussions without any approval process (monitoring) as an opportunity to have open dialogue about topics and issues that are of concern to our members. An open and constructive exchange regarding these topics is useful. The constructive debate of an idea is acceptable.

However, any new conversations that single out any individual(s) or homes to our attention via some criticism or attack is not acceptable. Any response to a topic that attacks or sarcastically criticizes the individuals making previous posts rather than the topic will also be seen as unacceptable.  Any such posts will be promptly removed by those administering the site.  Posts may also be edited by administrators if only a portion of the post is unacceptable. Members who continually violate these rules risk being banned from the site. These rules will be subject to change as needed at the discretion of the Mt Isle Harbor Communications Committee.

Please exercise mature judgment regarding your postings. If you want to point our issues or concerns that do isolate individual(s) or homes, please do so by contacting an HOA Liaison Board member by phone or email. [HOA Contacts].  Reports of vandalism or suspicious conduct can be submitted by email to our Community Watch Committee (click here). All members making posts should include their name, and street (as appropriate) on all posts to promote an open atmosphere.
